It’s our first time covering the 14’s age group at USAV Nationals! Normally, we don’t start covering players until they reach the 15’s age group or freshman year of high school. But, we’re making a special exception, as they’re just under two months from becoming high school players. However, don’t get used to it. We still firmly believe that writing about and evaluating players on a consistent basis below the 15’s age group would normally be unnecessary and not something that follows our core values. But, just this once, think of it as a head start for high school season, getting our eyes on some incoming freshmen before we gear up for the Fall. We’ll be on the hunt in Chicago for Supernovas and Stars within the 14 Open division, and we’re especially excited because we haven’t gotten to see much of the division play this club campaign. It’s a special occasion for us, so we’re looking forward to seeing some great play starting on Wednesday.
