With Unrivaled’s first regular season in the books, the league will now turn its attention to its first-ever playoff. Four teams will participate in hopes of being Unrivaled’s first-ever league champions.
The four teams making up the league’s playoff field this year include No. 1 Lunar Owls, No. 2 Rose, No. 3 Laces, and No. 4 Vinyl. Mist and Phantom were eliminated from contention this year.
The playoff format is simple. All four playoff teams will compete in a semifinal round on Sunday. The winners from both games will then go on to compete for the Unrivaled title Monday night.
Laces (7-7) will take on Rose (8-6) in the first semifinal game, while the Lunar Owls (13-1) will take on Vinyl (5-9) in the second game. Laces and Rose split both of their regular season meetings, while the Lunar Owls won both regular season meetings against Vinyl.
