United States of America dominates the WTA ranking. This is the verdict that we can acquire by reading the women’s ranking after the end of this intense season. Behind the Americans, Russia follows at a distance, then the Czech Republic at an even further distance.
USA leads this ranking with 17 players among the top 100 in the world and with three top-10: Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro. Russia follows in this ranking, with 12 appearances and one top-10 which is Daria Kasatkina. Third place for the Czech Republic with 7 players.
China follows with Qinwen Zheng with 5 appearances together with Ukraine. 4 appearances for Spain and France. With three appearances, there is Italy, which is in the company of Poland of the world number 2 Iga Swiatek, Great Britain, Romania and Germany.
Two appearances for Belarus (a very important one considering that it is the WTA No.1 Aryna Sabalenka), Kazakhstan, Belgium, Denmark, Japan, Holland and Argentina.
Finally, one presence each for Latvia, Brazil, Croatia, Canada, Greece, New Zealand, Tunisia, Slovakia, Armenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Mexico, Colombia, Egypt, Turkey, Hungary and Australia.
