Connecticut women’s basketball star Azzi Fudd reinjured her right knee in last Sunday’s game against Georgetown, the team announced Friday. Here’s what you need to know:

Backstory
Fudd’s latest setback comes after just two appearances in her return from the December injury. She scored 14 points in a win over St. John’s in her first game back last Wednesday, before reinjuring her knee against the Hoyas. She still leads the Huskies with 17.9 points per game across nine contests this season. Fudd previously tore her ACL and MCL in 2019 and missed time with a foot injury last season.
