The 2023 U.S. Women’s Open is set to kick off Thursday, with plenty of young stars among the 156 competitors vying for the title.
Rose Zhang — the 20-year-old phenom out of Stanford — is among the headliners and the betting favorite in a field that includes Jin Young Ko, Nelly Korda, Leona Maguire, Lydia Ko and Minjee Lee, among others.
The 72-hole, stroke-play competition is taking place at the Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Jin Young Ko and Korda tee off at the same time Thursday, along with American Lexi Thompson in the early featured group. Their tee time is set for 11:50 a.m. ET.
Zhang, Lydia Ko and Brooke Henderson round out the afternoon’s featured group and tee off at 5:35 p.m. ET.
