The second edition of The Soccer Tournament, a 7v7 event which features an eye-catching $1 million cash prize, has pulled in professional players and celebrities to Cary, North Carolina for a week-long competition.
Created on the back of the successful TBT (The Basketball Tournament), TST was hugely popular last summer as celebrities like Chad Johnson and Chris Wondolowski pulled their boots on alongside Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and the Hollywood owned-Wrexham FC, to compete for the final cash prize.
This year, there will be even more attention on WakeMed Soccer Park as the tournament adds a second, women’s-only event with an equal $1 million prize pot at the end of the competition.
