Stuttgart tournament director Markus Gunthardt heaped praise on Emma Raducanu and Cori Gauff as he is certain the two young stars could win it all this week. Raducanu, 20, and 19-year-old Gauff are set to make their second appearances in Stuttgart.
Last year, Raducanu reached the Stuttgart quarterfinal before losing to Iga Swiatek. On the other side, Gauff didn’t really have an impressive Stuttgart debut after losing to Daria Kasatkina in the first round. “It’s wonderful that Coco and Emma are coming.
They are two very promising players and unquestionably an enrichment for our tournament,” Gunthardt said, per Sportskeeda.
