5. Sophie Harding – Western Sydney Wanderers
Sophie Harding has been a star for Western Sydney this season. This goal was her seventh of the season, and it was a stunner.
What’s amazing about this goal is how Harding is able to generate tremendous power on a one-time shot. Most players would take a touch to try and settle the ball and then go for goal. Harding wasted no time, and by doing so, the keeper was caught off guard and beaten easily. Western Sydney sits right outside the playoff spots in the A-League table. Sophie Harding might help them break into the top four.
