Tonight, as the Fall 2025 season of Paris Fashion Week continues, Haider Ackermann staged his highly anticipated debut as Tom Ford creative director. Ackermann replaced Peter Hawkings (who lasted less than twelve months in the role) in September. Fast forward six months and Mr. Ford himself is on his feet applauding the Colombian-born French designer as he took his bow at the end of the show. Ackermann seemingly sought inspiration from the 1970s and 1990s, with looks ranging from low-slung leather trousers, asymmetric leather jackets, and wraparound sunglasses to sleek ultra-high-cut gowns that evoke the high-octane glamour of the ultimate Tom Ford woman.
