He recently watched an entire game for the first time earlier in the week, but his father did not play.
With Ingles’ son in attendance again on Friday night (local), Finch placed the Boomers star in the starting line-up to ensure he could watch his Dad in action.
The former Jazz, Bucks and Magic player hadn’t seen the court since February 25 against the Thunder.
He has averaged six minutes a game in the 2024/25 season.
