The United States women’s national team is used to conquering Concacaf; this time, it required some extra work.

U.S. captain Lindsey Horan’s goal just before halftime stood as the game-winner as the U.S. defeated Brazil, 1-0 on Sunday at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego to win the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup. The victory completed an impressive knockout-round run from the Americans after they lost to Mexico to finish second in their group.
