Is golf ready to return to the spotlight?
After Rory McIlroy’s stunning victory at Augusta over the weekend, some — including The Athletic’s Brody Miller — are making that case. And given the drama around McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau, the PGA versus LIV and the consistent excellence of Scottie Scheffler, there is certainly a case to be made.
While the Masters captured the attention of the sports world, it was far from the only big news across the week, as the NBA hurtled toward its postseason, the WNBA held its draft (the second-most-watched ever!) and Team USA found a new big bat for its World Baseball Classic lineup.
