There is nothing better than working with someone you love. The husband and wife duo of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter of The War and Treaty get to tour all over, and are ready to travel across North America for the “Plus One” tour.
Starting in 2016, The War and Treaty features Tanya, known for an acting role in “Sister Act 2” and her “Natural Thing” album, which features “Through the Rain” and “I’m Gonna Make You Mine.” Working with Michael, a U.S. Army veteran, the two released the EP “Down to the River,” which was critically acclaimed.
The duo appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time following a collaboration with Zach Bryan. They have been nominated multiple times at the CMT Music, Grammy, ACMA, People’s Choice Country, and CMA Awards.
The release of the “Plus One” album will mark one of their most daring collaborations to date, something they are very proud to have accomplished together.
“We’ve made music people can uniquely experience because we decided to more intentionally and personally connect with their hearts,” Michael told The Tennessean.
