The USAG Dismount: Week 5

It’s getting crowded at the top this week, with the top five teams being within a point of each other. While top-ranked SEMO was on a bye this week, Lindenwood surged back to life with a 195.425. On the flipside, Air Force and Centenary sported double meet weekends. Brown reminded everyone that last season’s high scores were no fluke, and Yale put on a stick clinic. The USAG season is just heating up, and we’re not even halfway through the season yet!

Superlatives

Brown Bears Break Brand New Beam Best

Brown broke its team program record on beam with a 48.925. And just to add a little extra icing to the cake, the Bears total score of 194.775 was good enough to land as the fourth highest score in program history. 

Commentary of the Week

During the Yale meet this weekend, the commentator was unabashed about his love for Raegan Walker on bars. However, like the good reporter he is, he noted his bias on the air. In his defense, Walker’s lines and power speak for themselves, biased or otherwise.
