We’ve presented our hits and misses of Menswear Milan Fashion Week and Menswear Paris Fashion Week but which collections truly came out on top, and generated the most buzz?
The schedules Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode bestowed upon us for Spring 2025 surely packed an almighty punch. In Milan, all eyes were on Adrian Appiolaza at Moschino as he presented his highly-anticipated debut menswear collection as the brand’s newly-installed creative director. Aptly titled “Italian Beauty”, the ultimate Italian design duo that are Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana paid homage to idyllic Italian summers during the 1950s. In Paris, we were catapulted to a dystopian future as Rick Owens returned to the Palais de Tokyo. Titled “Hollywood”, the designer cast 200 models from around fashion schools in Paris and cloaked them in shades of white. On day four, Kim Jones paid tribute to his friend, the South African ceramicist Hylton Nel. Models walked amongst oversized sculptures in tailored trousers and bermuda shorts, sleeveless knits – all in a muted color…
