Novak Djokovic’s dominance at the Australian Open remains unmatched. The 35-year-old won his 10th title — and 22nd Grand Slam overall, which ties Rafael Nadal for the all-time men’s lead — earlier today, defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5). Djokovic hasn’t lost at the Australian Open in five years, winning 28 consecutive matches and four titles. (He did miss last year’s tournament because he wasn’t vaccinated against COVID-19). He’ll also return to No. 1 in the ATP rankings with the win.
In the women’s singles final Saturday, 24-year-old Aryna Sabalenka won her first Grand Slam singles title, defeating Elena Rybakina 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
