Things got busy in the NCGA this week with some extraordinary and dynamite gymnastics. In the East, Rhode Island and Ithaca smashed records while Brockport and Ursinus flirted with scores not scene since 2019 and 2020, respectively. Alex Wood unveiled her Yurchenko full at the end of last season, but she is really hitting her stride on vault in 2023. This weekend marked her fourth 9.7-plus score in the last five meets. As you can see from the video, she’s a landing machine.
