The NCGA Dismount: Week 5

If anyone missed La Crosse’s huge score on the road last weekend, the team repeated the feat in its victory over NCGA No. 1 Oshkosh with a 192-plus for the second week in a row. Brockport’s stacked floor lineup continues to inch closer to that 49.000 mark, and Ursinus notched a season high AND the best team floor score since 2018.

Seeing Red

From the shoes to the necklace, Cortland head coach Sulekha Modi Zaug and assistant coach Nicole Jackson were a pair that had you seeing red. More meet day outfits, please!

Debut of the Week

In Cate Sandvik’s senior year, she has upgraded her vault to a full-twisting tucked Yurchenko, giving herself a crack at not only  the vault lineup but the all-around as well. This weekend was her debut all-around performance where she posted a 38.050.

Routines We Don’t Talk About Enough

While this is a non-exclusive list, we wanted to highlight some routines that really stood out this weekend that typically don’t get a lot of air time. UW-Stout’s Gillian Cummins has the only full-twisting Yurchenko in the Blue Devils’ lineup, and it’s a great one with flare at the end. Laurel Raymond from Hamline has some serious potential on beam.
