During a discussion on The Tennis Podcast, IMG senior vice-president Eisenbud spilled the beans about Raducanu’s coaching situation. It turns out that both Emma and her father Ian are very comfortable with the idea of short-term coaching relationships, and it looks like they will stick with this approach indefinitely.
“It’s probably going to be like that for the rest of her career. That’s what’s comfortable for them,” Eisenbud explained the situation that perplexes tennis fans.
“I’m not saying it is right or wrong, but that is the way they have done it, and I think it is fine to do things differently.”
