Texas Tech will induct Mike Leach into its Hall of Honor posthumously, while former quarterback Kliff Kingsbury headlines its 2023 Hall of Fame class. Here’s what you need to know:
- Leach coached the Red Raiders from 2000 to 2009 and amassed an 84-43 record. Texas Tech appeared in a bowl game in each of his 10 seasons, winning six of those.
- Kingsbury played quarterback at Texas Tech from 1999 to 2002 and later returned to the program as head coach from 2013 to 2018.
- The quarterback-turned-coach is being inducted into the Hall of Fame, which is reserved for former athletes.
