Madison Booker, Texas
Texas sophomore forward Madison Booker totaled 50 points as the Longhorns rolled to wins at Auburn and over Maryland. Booker scored 28 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the field to lead No. 7 Texas to an 89-51 victory over No. 8 Maryland in the Coretta Scott King Classic in Newark, N.J. on Monday. Booker had 20 points at the half of the game. It was her eighth game of the season scoring 20 or more points and it helped Texas to their largest margin of victory over a top 10 team in program history.
Earlier in the week on Jan. 16, Booker (22) and Rori Harmon (20) combined for 42 points as Texas beat Auburn, 74-57.
