Carlos Alcaraz triumphed at Indian Wells for the second year in a row and now dreams of completing the Sunshine Double by also winning the Miami Open.
A feat achieved by only eleven players in the history of men’s and women’s tennis. Winning at Indian Wells and Miami in the same year were Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Michael Chang, Marcelo Rios, Iga Swiatek, Steffi Graf, Kim Clijsters and Victoria Azarenka.
The tournament in Florida began with a thousand problems. First the dramatic high temperatures and humidity that put the health of some tennis players such as Arthur Cazaux and Matteo Berrettini at risk.
