Meanwhile, Ukrainian player Dayana Yastremska was suspended from the sport for nine months after she also tested positive for a banned substance, mesterolone, in 2021. Yastremska was later cleared from her ban when the ITF accepted that Yastremska bore no fault or negligence for the violation.
