Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney revealed her favourite UFC star on a FaceTime call at a party attended by Conor McGregor – but snubbed the Irishman in favour of another MMA legend
Sydney Sweeney snubbed Conor McGregor by naming Ronda Rousey as her favourite UFC fighter during a wild party. Hollywood star Sweeney is a well-known fan and follower of MMA.
She was first seen cageside at UFC 288 in 2023 for Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo’s fight. The 27-year-old is set to show her passion for combat sports again by starring as women’s boxing legend Christy Martin in a new upcoming film.
And the actress explained who her all-time favourite UFC fighter is during a phone call with Kyle Forgeard from the famous Canadian YouTube group, the Nelk Boys, thereby snubbing McGregor at his own party.
Forgeard flew his team to Dublin, Ireland, from their residence in Miami to celebrate with former UFC two-belt champion McGregor on St Patrick’s Day.
The group arrived in Dublin and quickly began to enjoy the party before heading to McGregor’s Black Forge Inn pub. At one point, Forgeard by chance bumped into a man who happened to be Sweeney’s cousin.
