The WNBA collectibles market is booming and now hall of famer Sue Bird is getting involved.
Bird has curated a “Dream Draft” auction of 190 notable WNBA trading cards and memorabilia items for eBay covering some of the league’s biggest names from the past and present.
“I wanted to recognize the players who’ve paved the way and highlight the ones pushing the game forward,” Bird said in a press release announcing the auction. “These pieces aren’t just collectibles—they tell the story of where we’ve been and where we’re headed.”
A select group of items within the collection carries a starting bid of 97 cents to commemorate the WNBA launching in 1997, including a Seattle Storm jersey autographed by Bird and inscribed with “4x WNBA Champ.”
