Stephen Curry or Sabrina Ionescu?
That’s the hot-button question heading into 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis as two of the best shooters on the planet get set to square off on the main stage at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Curry’s resume speaks for itself as the NBA’s all-time leading 3-point shooter, knocking down a record-shattering 3,631 triples and counting in his career. He has led the league in 3s made seven times and is the only player in NBA history to knock down 400 triples in a single season.
Ionescu just broke the WNBA’s record for most 3-pointers made in a season last year, doing so at an incredibly efficient 44.8 percent clip. Her historic 3-Point Contest at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Weekend — scoring 37 out of 40 possible points with just two misses and a streak of 20 consecutive makes — is what sparked this competition in the first place.
The real ones know Ionescu has a good shot to beat Curry, even if she shoots from the NBA 3-point line. Which NBA players are siding with Sabrina and which NBA players are siding with Steph?
