WTA world number 59 Peyton Stearns, 21, surprised tennis fans after changing her outfit (and the brands) in the middle of the US Open round of 16 match against Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova. One tennis enthusiast on X joked about the situation.
“Did Nike sign Peyton Sterns in the toilet break, istg (I swear to God) she was wearing Lululemon in the first two sets. That ain’t just a different colored dress it’s a whole new brand!” the fan wrote. Stearns responded with a sigh: “unsponsored life.”

Unfortunately for the American, the change of outfits didn’t bring her luck.
