Stawovy joins Owls basketball staff

GAMBIER, Ohio — Mary Corbett, second-year head coach of the Kenyon College women’s basketball program, announced recently that Brittany Stawovy has been added to the Owls staff as an assistant coach.

Stawovy joins the Kenyon crew after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant coach at Seton Hill University, an NCAA Division II institution in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. During those two seasons, the Griffins generated a combined record of 39-25, including a 26-18 mark within Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play.



While at Seton Hill, Stawovy handled basketball operations, as well as taught skills, developed practice drills, and trained players in a one-on-one setting. Off the court, she managed player academics, travel, and team community service efforts.




Prior to receiving her master’s degree in innovative instruction in May of 2023, Stawovy attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she graduated in 2021 with degrees in secondary education and English literature.
