Stars of the Open shine bright: $320,000 raised for Ukraine relief during US Open Fan Week

The Stars of the Open exhibition during the US Open Fan Week attracted 14,000 fans inside Louis Armstrong Stadium on Wednesday night and generated a remarkable $320,000 in funds dedicated to Ukraine humanitarian relief.

NBA superstar Jimmy Butler and Grammy Award-winner Sebstian Yatra stole the show while sharing the court with ATP world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz and Top 10 player Frances Tiafoe.

The duo of John McEnroe and world No.3 Jessica Pegula then defeated Matteo Berrettini and Gabriela Sabatini with the support of “Ace,” a service dog with the K9s for Warriors program.

Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils closed out the event with a mixed doubles match vs. Americans Chris Eubanks and Jenny Brady.
