The top of the 2024 WNBA Draft continues to take shape, as Stanford star Cameron Brink announced today that she will be entering the draft and eschewing the opportunity to play a fifth season for the Cardinal.
Brink publicized the decision via Instagram, writing, “I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft. Although I am excited for the next chapter, we still have unfinished business and so much to accomplish in my final season at Stanford.”
Her announcement comes two days after Stanford, the winners of the Pac-12 regular season, fell short in the conference tournament final to USC. Even so, the Cardinal are still projected to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, as they have been in each of Brink’s four seasons. During her career, Stanford has won one national title, four Pac-12 regular-season titles, two conference tournament championships and advanced to an additional Final Four.

The Cardinal won’t be the favorites heading into March Madness, but after South Carolina, they are comfortably in the second tier of title contenders.
