Olympic champions, award-winning actors, chart-topping musicians and social media sensations will all be helping Soccer Aid raise millions for charity when they form two football squads for a game at Old Trafford on Sunday.
There are plenty of former footballers familiar with Manchester United’s home, too: former Three Lions stars Jack Wilshere, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt are among the male outfield players, while Eni Aluko, Karen Carney, Jill Scott and Emma Hayes are legends of the English women’s game.
Scott and 100m world record holder Usain Bolt are the team captains, with incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino leading one of the coaching teams.

What is Soccer Aid?
Co-founded by pop star and Port Vale fan Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid centres on a football match inviting two squads of household names to face each other in a match.
The game usually takes place at Manchester United’s home but has also been held at Wembley Stadium, Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and West Ham United’s London Stadium.
