LANGFORD, BC – As Canada gets set to honor Christine Sinclair, Sophie Schmidt, and Erin McLeod on Tuesday night at BC Place in Vancouver, the spotlight is on the world’s all-time international leading goal-scorer.

Canada will take on Australia tonight at Starlight Stadium on Vancouver Island in the first of a two game sendoff series honoring Sinclair.  There will be tributes, ovations, and a few tears shed for one of Canada’s greatest athletes. 

The focus is on Sinclair and what she has meant to an entire country. Whether it be in Montreal, Halifax, Victoria, or Vancouver, Canadians want to be there to honor Sinclair.
