Bianca Andreescu was straight honest when reflecting on how it felt to play Iga Swiatek as the Canadian said that the Polish world No 1 “literally does not miss.” On Monday, Andreescu exited Indian Wells in the third round after Swiatek handed her a 6-3 7-6 (1) defeat.

Andreescu, the 2019 Us Open champion, entered the match confident she could match up to Swiatek. Andreescu certainly didn’t embarrass herself but it also wasn’t a performance good enough to beat Swiatek. “I know that my game was definitely going to level up to hers.

I knew she was going to play well but I didn’t know she was going to play that well, but that’s what you have to expect from the world No.1. She literally does not miss. You could hit any shot in the world and she literally will not miss.

She’ll find a way to get to it, she’ll put it where she exactly wants it,” Andreescu said, per Eurosport.

Andreescu broke Swiatek in the very first game of the match but the Pole break back immediately in the second game.
