Thursday marked a fantastic evening at Gotham Hall with the return of Citi Taste of Tennis. New Yorkers had a chance to mingle with tennis stars that attended this entertaining event hosted by chef Bao Bao and former ATP player Prakash Amritraj.
Venus Williams, Belinda Bencic, Camila Giorgi, Marta Kostyuk with her fiancé, Ons Jabeur, Alycia Parks, Sascha Zverev, and John McEnroe were among guests who gathered to indulge in a symphony of flavors inside New York’s majestic ballroom, characterized by its soaring 70-foot ceilings and an intricate stained-glass skylight that added an air of elegance to the proceedings.
The culinary creations included the refreshing watermelon & shrimp carpaccio and the tantalizing cauliflower & couscous tabbouleh, expertly crafted by the renowned chef Alain Allegretti of Fig & Olive.
The culinary journey continued with delights such as the delectable salt fish & shrimp fregola from the culinary wizard chef Damian Leach of Barbados Tourism, and the rich and satisfying gnocchi bolognese crafted by chef Chad Brown of Hunt & Fish Club.
In addition, guests sipped on espresso cocktails from Segafredo Zanetti Coffee, bubbles from Zonin USA, “Voss-Tails” courtesy of VOSS, along with inventive cocktails from Gin Mare and Chambord.
