Serena Williams told Venus Williams that she is a proud sister after following the seven-time Grand Slam champion’s return in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. After being out for half a year, former world No 1 Venus returned to action this week on the grass courts of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
In her first match back, 42-year-old Venus competed extremely well but in the end suffered a three-set loss as rising Swiss star Celine Naef beat the American 3-6 7-6 (3) 6-2. Serena, a former 23-time Grand Slam champion, was in the stands supporting her sister.

Even though Venus is set to turn 43 on Saturday, she still loves the game and absolutely enjoyed her return in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
