Serena Williams shares she has been greatly missing tennis over the last several months as she admits the game will always be her biggest love.
After ending her pro tennis career at the 2022 US Open, Serena Williams announced she was pregnant on March 1st last year. In August, Williams gave birth to her second child, a baby girl named Adira River Ohanian.
Now, Williams reveals that during pregnancy she didn’t really think much about missing tennis because her focus was on some other things. But shortly after giving birth last August, Williams started thinking more about tennis and missing it a lot more.
While it’s a pretty candid admission, it is not a sign that 42-year-old Williams is ready to return to tennis.
“It was all good when I was pregnant and now that I’m not anymore I’m like, ‘Ohhh I miss it so much!’,” Williams said on Today with Hoda & Jenna.
“I’m doing so many things with different businesses.
“But tennis obviously was my first love and it will always be my first love and it is something I will always be so passionate about. I will never love anything as much as tennis, ’cause it’s like, you’re in the front of the world and you don’t even realize it because…
