Serena Williams’ former coach Rennae Stubbs talked about the two young talents of the ATP Tour, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, in the latest episode of Racquet’s Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast. Speaking to Andrea Petkovic, Stubbs highlighted how Sinner is a same version of ATP No.1 Novak Djokovic.

Furthermore, Serena Williams’ former coach said Sinner is ahead of Alcaraz at the moment, praising the role of Darren Cahill, who has improved many aspects of the young Italian’s tennis. “I think Jannik Sinner’s net game is improving experientially.

Darren Cahill has been a huge influence in that department. So, I think he’s advancing his dropshots and his slice backhand. It’s a work in progress. ‘hit a couple of times against him on some big points, a couple of break points.

You think: Where is Sinner attackable? Where do you score a point against him? You can not. He’s like the same version of Novak Djokovic. I think Jannik Sinner has more advantages than Carlitos Alcaraz. I think he can get better at hitting the dropshot, which he’s doing.
