Serena Williams’ childhood coach Rick Macci is tipping Jannik Sinner to reach the world No. 1 ranking and the well-known coach believes that will happen in the near future. Sinner, who achieved a career-high ranking of No. 4 on October 2nd, also finished the season as the fourth-ranked player in the world. Currently, 22-year-old Sinner has 6,490 points. “Was asked if @Janniksin CAN be number one someday. He WIIL BE number one someday and Sooner Rather Than later. Jannik Joker and Carlos will play Musical Chairs going up and down the NUMBER RANKING STAIRS,” Macci wrote on X.
