Sergio Perez previously apologised for the manner of his celebrations after winning the Monaco Grand Prix in 2022. The 35-year-old driver is currently without a team after being axed by Red Bull at the end of last season, ending his continuous 14-year spell on the Formula One grid.
Perez has claimed six wins during his F1 career, including at the Monaco GP in May 2022. However, following his success in Monte Carlo, the Mexican star apologised to his wife Carola Martinez after videos of him dancing with other women at a party emerged online.
“I have seen the videos that have been circulating about me and I take responsibility for it,” Perez wrote in a public apology on Instagram. “It was a bad party that I didn’t know how to control at the height of the person that I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.
