With Novak Djokovic’s victory at the Roland Garros 2023, the clay court season officially ends. He’ll be back for that brief post-London parenthesis, but it’s already time to turn the page and move onto the grass. And in these few weeks in which tennis players will trample the lawns scattered throughout Europe, the big goal is the third Grand Slam title: Wimbledon.

At the All England Club, the favorite is still Novak Djokovic: by virtue of his seven titles in the british Grand Slam tournament but not only, the Serbian star will go hunting for the 24th Grand Slam title. This is the thought of Rick Macci, former coach of the Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, who however wanted to indicate another favorite for this part of the season.

We are talking about Jannik Sinner, who reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon last year, losing against the world number one who recovered from two sets behind. Macci explained on Twitter: “Fasten your seat belt for Wimbledon.
