We are quickly approaching the end of the high school volleyball season in the northeast. In New Jersey, conference tournaments are underway with teams such as Immaculate Heart Academy (24-1) taking home a championship, while squads such as Monroe High (25-2) and Old Bridge High (22-3) are set to meet in the finals. In Vermont and Maine, Essex High (14-0) and Washington Academy (15-0) are riding 47 and 60 game winning streaks into their state tournaments. It’s an exciting time to be a volleyball fan as the best teams from around the region battle it out until a champion is crowned.
