Nigel James, the father of England internationals Reece and Lauren, has taken up an advisory role with the Grenadian Football Association (GFA).
Chelsea’s Reece and Lauren have established impressive careers in the men’s and women’s games respectively, and their father — who is of Grenadian descent — has also developed a strong reputation as a coach before his new position with the Caribbean country.

A statement from the office of the Prime Minister of Grenada read: “In a recent visit to the Prime Minister’s office, Mr. Nigel James shared his experiences as a former football player. Now coach of his two children Reece and Lauren James, he outlined ways in which his technical expertise can benefit young Grenadian players especially in Grassroots football.
