Recruiting Roundup: October 11 – College Gym News

Oklahoma commit Presley Duke, the top recruit in the class of 2026, was the eighth of 11 five-star recruits to choose a college. Before committing she visited Utah, LSU, and Alabama. Jayla Hang, Alicia Zhou, and Simone Brown are the final uncommitted five-stars in the class of ’26.

All but two of the colleges who finished in the top 10 last season have secured at least one recruit in the class of ’26. Oklahoma leads the pack with seven recruits, followed by LSU, California, and Kentucky with three; Alabama, Florida, and Denver with two; and Utah with one. Stanford and Arkansas are still waiting for their first commit.

Mackenzie Estep (Oklahoma, ‘25), the top recruit in her class, has resumed training following a season-ending ankle injury. Training clips show her looking strong on all four events.

Charlotte Booth, GBR (Auburn, ‘26), Tonya Paulsson, SWE (California, ‘25), and Sirine Aboulhoda, EGY (uncommitted three-star, ‘26) competed at the Szombathely World Challenge Cup in Hungary last weekend. Booth and Paulsson both qualified for event finals on bars, beam, and floor. Booth finished first on bars, third on beam, and seventh on floor while Paulsson finished second on bars, first on beam, and first on floor.
