Randy Orton, Jade Cargill return to Friday Night Smackdown in Elimination Chamber fallout

Elimination Chamber started off with the bang, literally. That was the sound of the sliding steel cage door slamming against Naomi’s body after Jade Cargill, out since late November, “Storm”-ed to the ring to exact revenge for the attack that took her out. For months, Naomi has been Cargill’s replacement as tag-team champion alongside Bianca Belair, as speculation ran rampant on who took the rookie star out.

Later in the exhilarating PLE, a second return happened. After Kevin Owens emerged victorious from a mutual-destruction brawl with Sami Zayn, he was attempting to further the long-term damage to his former friend. Package Piledrivers have become Owens attack of choice, and it all started with his attack on Randy Orton, also in late November, that had him shelved since.

Orton appeared just in time to prevent disaster, and the pop once his music hit was insane.

Those were just two of the many highlights from Elimination Chamber, which also featured John Cena winning the shot to challenge Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 41, and then shocking the world by turning heel under the thumb of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Bianca Belair won the women’s chamber in the aftermath of her partners turmoil.
