MGM and IMG recently announced the inaugural MGM Macau Tennis Masters, featuring Olympic gold medallist Belinda Bencic, along with Top 10 ATP players Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe. The excitement for the event now escalates further with the latest inclusion of the sensational Emma Raducanu and Asia’s most captivating young talent, Wu Yibing, further enhancing the star-studded roster.
Taking place on 2-3 December 2023 at the Macao East Asian Games Dome, the largest indoor sports facility in the region, this mixed hardcourt tournament will feature four players from the men’s tour and two from the women’s circuit. The event will soon announce one more men’s player to complete the impressive lineup.
The MGM Macau Tennis Masters will consist of two men’s singles matches and one mixed doubles on Saturday, followed by a women’s singles match and two men’s singles matches on Sunday, culminating in an evening awards ceremony. The singles matches will be played in a best-of-three set format, with a ten-point match tiebreak replacing the third set.
