Madness is upon us and with that, the chase for the perfect bracket. NCAA’s Michella Chester, Wayne Staats, Daniel Wilco and Harry Enten discussed everything you need to know to end with your bracket as the last one standing. This live conversation took place on Monday, March 18.
The discussion highlighted how some of the tournament’s historic rivalries will fare in this year’s tournament, all the math behind the odds of a perfect bracket and the enjoyment of accepting the chaos that comes along with March Madness.
The group also showed that a No. 5 seed has never won the tournament. The math behind the odds was also broken all the way down to grains of sand across the world. In the last eight years, the most picks an individual has ever guessed correctly is 55 out of 63. The crew also recapped some of the biggest upsets of all time including Kentucky and St. Peter’s in 2022 and a little fun with mascots and colors.
