Many have compared Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to legendary Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. Both have won multiple MVP awards, Super Bowls and other personal accolades during their careers — although Mahomes has a long way to go before he can match Brady’s stats and rings.
The two also have many off-field endeavors in business, media and other non-football injuries. Mahomes owns equity in the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Current, and Sporting Kansas City. Brady is a minority investor in Birmingham City FC and is trying to buy ownership stakes in the Raiders and the WNBA’s Aces.
Mahomes should continue down the same path that led Brady to win seven Super Bowls in 23 seasons and rank as one of the wealthiest athletes and celebrities in the world so long as he remains at the top of his craft on the best team in the NFL.
