Oregon State senior Jade Carey has been named the winner of the 2025 AAI Award, an honor bestowed annually to the most outstanding senior gymnast in the nation. Selected from a field of 59 nominees and narrowed to six finalists, the award recognizes excellence in gymnastics, leadership, and academics.
Carey’s 2025 season was nothing short of dominant. The senior posted a staggering 39.925 all-around score and recorded four perfect 10.0s—three on floor and one on beam—cementing her reputation as the most reliable and dynamic all-arounder in collegiate gymnastics. She qualified for the NCAA national championships once again, bringing consistency, difficulty, and international-caliber execution to every routine.
Over her collegiate career, Carey amassed 117 individual event titles and completed two gym slams, showcasing her versatility across all four events. A three-time Honda Award finalist and the 2022 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, she has consistently set the bar for excellence at Oregon State, both as a competitor and as a leader.
