Caitlin Clark has been the most popular women’s college basketball player over the last two seasons. Now, she will get the chance to showcase her ability at the professional level after she was selected by the Indiana Fever with the first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday. Clark helped change the landscape of women’s college basketball, leading Iowa to back-to-back national championship appearances as a two-time Naismith Player of the Year. Indiana is in need of a superstar, as the Fever have not been to the playoffs since Tamika Catchings retired in 2016.
