There are a few more medals to hand out before track and field wraps up at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Day 9 is set for Saturday, Aug. 10 with nine final events to take place throughout the day. Most take place in the afternoon besides the men’s marathon, which begins at 2 a.m. ET.
Quincy Wilson is a headliner for Saturday’s action, as he leads off the men’s 4×400-meter relay for Team USA. He became the youngest men’s track and field athlete in USA Olympic history after his race in Round 1.
Wilson wasn’t his best, posting a 47.27 lap, which is about three seconds off his personal best of 44.20. Vernon Norwood, Bryce Deadmon, and Christopher Bailey wrapped up the race as Team USA finished third overall.

Nikki Hiltz is another runner to watch. They are the first transgender/non-binary person to compete in any track and field event final at the Olympics. Hiltz will run in the women’s 1,500-meter final, in which they finished third overall during the semifinals on Thursday, Aug. 8.
